Personal Milestones for J.L. Phillips

While writing her book, J.L. Phillips experienced many milestones in her life. She had two wonderful marriages, and unfortunately, over the course of writing her book, was widowed twice.

Her first husband, David Phillips, was an energy banker. They had a great life together; they experienced some beautiful trips, and he was very supportive.

When she met her second late husband, Woody Woodruff, he was so supportive of anything she would do, especially her book. They, too, had a great marriage.

Both Woody and David are in the forward of her book because of all their help and support.
